A record four members of the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team received All-America honors.

Junior defensive midfielder Matthew Hochegger was named a third-team All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, while senior attack Wyatt Malia, junior defenseman Brendan Lavarra and freshman midfielder Jack Bill all earned honorable mention. Hochegger, Malia and Lavarra also received honorable mention from USA Lacrosse.

The four All-Americans - who also were all All-Centennial Conference first-team selections - top the previous program record of three, set in 2022. At least one Mule has been named an All-American every season since 2019.

Hochegger is the first Muhlenberg player to earn higher than honorable mention on the USILA squad. In his first season as a starter, he tied for third on the team in ground balls (49) and second in caused turnovers (16). Hochegger was fourth among CC players (not including faceoff specialists) with 27 ground balls in CC games and also contributed a goal and two assists to the offense.

Malia closed out his career this season by earning All-CC honors for the third time. He led Muhlenberg with 59 points (fourth in the CC and the third-highest single-season total in program history) while also ranking in the top 10 in the CC in goals (38) and assists (21). Malia scored at least one goal in every game and ended up as the program's second all-time leading scorer with 154 points on 98 goals and 56 assists. He was invited to play in the USILA Senior All Star Game.

Lavarra had a breakout campaign in his first season as a starter, setting a school record with a CC-leading 41 caused turnovers. He tied for third on the Mules with 49 ground balls to lead a defense that was the third-stingiest in the CC with only 73 goals allowed in league games. Lavarra caused 6 turnovers in Muhlenberg's playoff game against nationally ranked Dickinson and 5 in two other games.

Bill, the CC rookie of the year, finished with a team-leading 40 goals, one shy of the school record. He tied for second in the CC with 23 goals in league games, including the overtime winner in a 12-11 victory at nationally ranked Gettysburg. Bill is only the second Mule freshman ever to earn All-America recognition and the third, all since 2019, to be named CC rookie of the year.

The Mules had a historic season in 2024, recording their best CC record ever, 6-2. Muhlenberg reached the semifinals of the CC playoffs, went 10-8 overall against a challenging schedule, and earned votes in the Division III national poll and an NCAA regional ranking.
