Men's Golf Comes in Second in Makuvek Cup
The Muhlenberg men's golf team hosted and came in second at the John Makuvek Cup, the annual competition with Lehigh Valley rivals Moravian and DeSales.
Junior Alex McCauley came in third with a 5-over-par 75, just a stroke off the lead. He was even par through the front nine, shooting birdies on the par-4 second hole and the par-5 sixth. McCauley added a pair of birdies, on 14 and 16, on the back nine.
Sophomore Ryan Tasetano recorded the best finish of his career, tying for sixth with an 81. He played a strong back nine, coming in with a 2-over-par 37 and shooting birdies on the par-4 10th and 14th holes.
Freshman Corey Gold (ninth hole) and junior Charlie Kerprich (14th) each shot a birdie. Freshman Justin Edwards (pictured above), playing as an individual, logged the third-best score by a Mule, making two birdies en route to carding an 84.
