Track & Field Teams Earn Academic Honors

The Muhlenberg track and field teams received five academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Muhlenberg track and field teams received five academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Both Mule squads were named All-Academic teams for having a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.1 among all student-athletes who used a season of eligibilty. The Mule teams easily cleared that hurdle, with the men combining for a 3.484 GPA and the women clocking in at 3.573.

In addition, three individuals - Noel House '24, Dylan DeMagistris '24 and rising sophomore Maya Richwine (pictured left to right above) - were named All-Academic athletes for having a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finishing the season ranked in the top 50 in Division III in an event.

House competed in the javelin at the NCAA Championships and came in eighth to earn All-America honors. DeMagistris ended the outdoor season ranked 26th in the country in the hammer throw, while Richwine was ranked 42nd in the indoor 60-meter hurdles.
