Youngling Named Player of the Week
Muhlenberg sophomore Emma Youngling was named Centennial Conference women's lacrosse offensive player of the week.
Youngling was nearly perfect with her shooting, scoring 13 goals on 14 shots as the Mules recorded a pair of non-conference wins. She also recorded four assists and controlled nine draws in the two games.
Youngling, whose 2024 high for goals in a game was four, connected on all seven of her shots in a 21-7 win at Misericordia, then scored six goals in a 19-5 win at Drew. She added four assists in the latter game, becoming the first Muhlenberg player since 2018 to reach double figures in points in a game.
For the season, Youngling leads the Mules and the CC with 15 goals and is second on the team with 19 points.
Muhlenberg is off to a 3-0 start heading into Thursday's home opener against Rowan.
