Track and Field Teams Compete in Two Meets

Men's Track and Field
The Muhlenberg track and field teams tried to boost their chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in meets at Ithaca and Tufts.
None of the four individuals who competed - sophomore David Seel in the 800 at Tufts and sophomore Maya Richwine (60 hurdles, 200), sophomore Maxwell Broadbent (triple jump) and freshman Sean McNeil (triple jump) at the Atlantic Regional Championships - improved on their season bests.
The Mules' best chance of a qualifier is Richwine, who is one spot away from the final qualifying berth in the hurdles. If one athlete ranked above her does not declare, she will earn a bid.
Muhlenberg also sent a DMR team of sophomores Marc Sebastian Montalvo and Sultan Almosbeh and juniors Andrew Smolowitz (pictured above) and Matthew Hajel to Ithaca.
