The Muhlenberg men's soccer team pulled out a wild 3-2 win at Moravian on a goal by junior Trevor Mikuta with just 9.7 seconds remaining.

The win, combined with earlier ones by field hockey and football, gave Muhlenberg a perfect 3-0 Saturday against Lehigh Valley rival Moravian.

Muhlenberg (2-1-1) held a 1-0 lead at halftime, but the Greyhounds (1-1-2) found the equalizer with just under 30 minutes remaining, setting the stage for a stretch of three game-tying or go-ahead goals in the final 15 minutes.

Junior Sim Dorsey put in a rebound of his own saved shot off a corner kick with 14:32 remaining for his first career goal, giving the Mules a 2-1 lead. With 7:23 left, however, Moravian headed in a cross to tie the game up again.

With the seconds ticking away in the final minute, Muhlenberg won a throwin in the Greyhounds' end of the field. Sophomore Sam Roberts played it back to senior Evan Schlotterbeck, who served the ball into the box. The ball found its way to junior Sebastian Tis, whose shot was tipped but not controlled by Moravian's goalie.

As the ball rolled behind the keeper across the goal mouth, Mikuta came in to tap it in for his third career goal.

It was the latest regulation game-winning goal for the Mules since 2006, when Billy Dalton scored with just 5 seconds left for a 1-0 win against McDaniel.

Tis netted Muhlenberg's first goal, just 12:45 into the game, off passes from senior Kevin Adams and freshman Saleem Diakite, who received credit for his first career point.
