Stairs Continues to Shine

The Muhlenberg women's soccer team wrapped up a stretch of four straight games against regionally ranked teams with a 1-0 loss at Dickinson.

The Red Devils (6-2-1, 2-1), ranked sixth in Region V, scored their lone goal in the 19th minute. The Mules kept it within one for the rest of the game, largely due to the efforts of sophomore Megan Stairs, who made 13 saves.

It was the sixth game with at least 13 stops for Stairs (pictured above), who ranks in the top 15 in Division III in saves per game. Coming on the heels of back-to-back 16-save games against Johns Hopkins and Swarthmore, it made Stairs the first Muhlenberg goalie since 1995 to total at least 45 saves in three consecutive games.
