Men's Lacrosse Goes Inside for Win
The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team let a four-goal lead slip away but came back to win its second straight game, 12-10 at Clarkson.
The game was played indoors at the Pinnacle Sports Complex in Victory, New York.
The Mules (2-1) led 4-0 after sophomore Liam Ledwith scored the first of his two goals with 10:59 to go in the second quarter, but the Knights (0-1) netted their first goal just 33 seconds later, starting a 5-0 run that gave them the lead nine seconds into the second half.
After Clarkson scored 1:25 into the fourth quarter to tie the game for the fourth time, at 9-9, Muhlenberg took over. The Mules held the Knights to only one shot over the next 10 minutes while scoring three goals to take an insurmountable lead.
Senior Nolan DiSora netted the go-ahead goal, senior Ben Falch added an extra-man goal, and Ledwith found the back of the net to make it 12-9 with less than five minutes to play.
