The Muhlenberg men's basketball team erased a 14-point deficit but fell at home to Wilkes, 75-69, ending its three-game winning streak.

Senior Giovanni Rubino led the Mules (7-5) with 20 points for his sixth 20-point game of the season. Freshman Drew Buck and Arinze Achufusi added 11 apiece.

Led by Lucas Lesko, the ninth-leading scorer in Division III and the son of former Muhlenberg All-American Mark Lesko '02, the Colonels (9-2) scored the first six points of the game and led 29-15 with just over six minutes left in the first half.

The Mules got right back in the game with a 13-0 run and went into the locker room trailing just 33-31.

Sophomore Gavin D'Iorio hit a three on the first possession of the second half to give Muhlenberg its first lead, but Wilkes tied the game less than a minute later and never trailed again.

After falling behind by 10, the Mules got to within two, 50-48, at the 10-minute mark. Wilkes extended its lead back to double digits, however, and held off Muhlenberg down the stretch.

Senior Luke Gordos blocked 5 shots, tying the most by a Mule in 12 years.
