Men's Golf Continues to Improve

The Muhlenberg men's golf team shot its lowest score of the year in the sun and wind of the Dickinson Spring Invitational, tying for sixth out of 14 teams.

The Muhlenberg men's golf team shot its lowest score of the year in the sun and wind of the Dickinson Spring Invitational, tying for sixth out of 14 teams.

The Mules came in with a team score of 314, 18 strokes better than their previous low round. 

Junior Joe Repetti and sophomore Alex McCauley each carded a 6-over-par 78 to lead the way for the Mules and come in a tie for 20th place in a field of 70 competitors. Repetti (pictured above) continued to add to his birdie total with three on the day, and McCauley added two. They each birdied the 326-yard par-4 fifth hole. McCauley also birdied the 392-yard par-4 seventh, while Repetti had back-to-back birdies on holes 9 and 10.

Sophomore Charlie Kerprich and freshman Ryan Tasetano both shot 7-over-par 79. Kerprich birdied the 168-yard par-3 11th hole, and Tasetano recorded 11 pars on his round. Senior Aron Gianchandani shot 84 with pars on half the holes, which included a nice up-and-down at the par-4 14th hole.
