Two Women's Wrestlers Regionally Ranked
Two Muhlenberg athletes appear in the latest National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships Region 2 rankings.
Freshman Alessandra Rodriguez is fifth at 124, and freshman Kelsey Gelb is seventh at 160.
Rodriguez placed fifth at the Millersville Open, the Mules' lone competition to date. She went 3-2, including a pin in the first bout ever for the program, and a pin of a Cedar Crest opponent in the fifth-place bout.
Gelb scored the highest Muhlenberg finish at Millersville, coming in third at 160. In the consolation final, she pinned the same opponent who had pinned her in the first round.
The Mules will resume their inaugural season after the Thanksgiving holiday with their first dual meet ever, at Cedar Crest on Tuesday, December 3.
