The Muhlenberg men's golf team played a competitive round at Bent Creek Country Club to come in eighth of 13 teams at the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational.

Sophomore Alex McCauley carded a 9-over par 80 to tie for 32nd place in a field of 68 competitors. McCauley (pictured above) recorded two birdies, narrowly missing a hole-in-one on the 158-yard par-3 13th, where he hit a 9-iron to within a foot-and-a-half of the hole. He also birdied the 297-yard par-4 seventh hole.

Senior Henry Stoer (season-best 81) and junior Joe Repetti (86) each recorded a pair birdies on the round. They both birdied the 464-yard par-5 12th. Stoer added his other on the par-4 eighth and Repetti on the short par-4 17th hole.

Like Stoer, senior Owen Kovacs birdied the eighth hole.
