Riccio Named All-Conference
Muhlenberg senior outfielder Ryan Riccio was selected to the All-Centennial Conference baseball second team.
Riccio had a sensational senior campaign, starting every game and hitting a team-best .357 with two home runs and 15 RBI. He led the Mules in runs scored (32), doubles (12), extra-base hits (16), stolen bases (10) and on-base percentage (.429), and his 55 hits were the ninth-most in a single season in program history.
In CC play, Riccio ranked fourth with a .421 batting average in league games, including four-hit games against Dickinson and Ursinus and three-hit games against McDaniel, Haverford and Johns Hopkins. He had just a .212 batting average through 15 games but hit .431 in the remaining 24 contests, hitting safely in all but three of them.
Riccio also had a strong season in the outfield, committing only one error while starting in left and center and making several diving catches.
