The Muhlenberg men's golf team improved each day at the Centennial Conference Championships to finish sixth out of eight teams with a score of 961.

The Mules shot a 329 in the first round, 327 in the second and 305 in the third. The 24-stroke improvement from the first day to the last was by far the best of any team in the field. 

Muhlenberg's Sunday score of 305 was its lowest of the season and tied for its seventh-best ever at the CC Championships.

Sophomore Alex McCauley led the Mules by shooting 234 over 3 rounds, improving by one shot from last year's CC tournament to finish 20th in a field of 40 competitors. McCauley fired a 2-under par 70 in the final round with four birdies, including three on par-5 holes. He is the third Muhlenberg golfer to record a round of 70 or better at the CC Championships.

Senior Aron Gianchandani carded 240 over three rounds, tying his career low of 74 in the final round. Gianchandani made two birdies during the third round, on the par-5 first and 14th holes. He also birdied the 14th hole in the second round and made 28 pars over the course of the weekend, finishing his career with a stroke average of 83.46.

Sophomore Charlie Kerprich shot 243, including a team-best 77 in the middle round. He made three birdies on the final round, including two on par-5 holes. Kerprich and McCauley both birdied the par-5 holes of the 479-yard 8th and the 499-yard 14th. 

Junior Joe Repetti, competing at the CC Championships for the first time, shot 244, and senior Henry Stoer had 261. Repetti had three birdies, including two on par-3 holes, en route to a team-low 76 in the first round. Repetti's birdie on hole 10 in round 1 was the only birdie during the competition on the hole. He added two birdies in the final round, both on par-5 holes.

Stoer had five birdies on the card in the final round, three on par-5 holes. He twice birdied back-to-back holes, coming in under par at 7, 8, 12, 14 and 15. Stoer also shot a birdie on the first round on the 181-yard par-3 3rd hole and has been happy to see the team's growth over his four seasons as a Mule.
