The Owls (9-2, 2-1) scored the lone goal a little more than four minutes into the game. The best chance for the Mules (5-6, 0-4) to tie came later in the quarter, when a penalty stroke was saved.
Senior Grace Leard (pictured above) recorded 8 saves to keep Muhlenberg within a goal.
In their last three games, all against nationally ranked Centennial Conference opponents, the Mules were tied in the fourth quarter against Ursinus, trailed Johns Hopkins by a goal in the fourth before falling 2-0 and lost by a goal to Bryn Mawr.
