The Muhlenberg women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Penn State Harrisburg in its first home game of 2024.
The Lions, who were regionally ranked last season, put in a goal early in the first half for all the scoring in the Mules' third straight one-goal loss to start the season.
Although Penn State Harrisburg had the better of play for most of the second half, the Muhlenberg defense kept it a one-goal game following the goal, but the offense could not manage an equalizer.
Sophomore Megan Stairs, the first Muhlenberg goalie since 1992 to record double digits in saves in each of the first two games of the season, made it three in a row with 13 stops.
