The Muhlenberg women's soccer team fell to Franklin & Marshall, 3-1, in its second-to-last home game of the season.

The Diplomats (5-2-6, 3-0-3), who advanced to the Centennial Conference championship game last year, scored two goals in the first 18 minutes to put the Mules in an early hole.

With just over 10 minutes remaining in the half, however, junior Anna May drew a foul just outside the box. She put in the direct kick for her third goal of the season, cutting the deficit in half.

F&M put in an insurance goal early in the second half and held Muhlenberg at bay the rest of the game.
