Men's Lacrosse Defeated in Opener
The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team dropped its first game of the 2025 season, 18-6 to 18th-ranked Stevenson.
The Mules held the Mustangs scoreless for nearly the first nine minutes of the game and took a 1-0 lead on a goal by senior Nolan DiSora.
After tying the game, Stevenson went ahead for good with two goals 22 seconds apart. Senior Tyler Kitchen brought Muhlenberg to within a goal with 1:49 left in the first quarter, but the Mustangs scored off the ensuing faceoff, starting a 5-0 run that sent the teams into halftime with the score at 8-2.
Sophomore Jack Bill opened the second-half scoring to make it 8-3. Stevenson responded with the next four goals to put the game out of reach.
Kitchen later added a second goal, while senior Matthew Hochegger and sophomore Liam Ledwith (pictured above) also scored for the Mules.
Senior Griffin Minuto and junior Michael Drago each won 7 faceoffs. Drago picked up 4 ground balls, as did freshman Charlie Lowery in his collegiate debut.
