Three Earn All-Region in Track & Field

Three members of the Muhlenberg track and field teams earned outdoor All-Metro Region honors.

Three members of the Muhlenberg track and field teams earned outdoor All-Metro Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The all-region teams consist of the top five individuals in each event in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.

Rising senior Noel House posted the third-best javelin throw in the region - and the seventh-best in Division III - with his mark of 210-4 at the Muhlenberg Outdoor Invitational. House, who went on to win his second straight gold medal at the Centennial Conference Championships, will compete in the javelin at the NCAA Championships this week in Rochester, New York.

Rising sophomore Avery McNulty jumped into all-region status by high jumping 5-3 at her final meet of the season, the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships. The CC outdoor high jump champion finished with the fourth-best mark in the region and was one of only four first-year students to finish in the top four in the region in a women's field event.

Rising senior Dylan DeMagistris earned All-Metro Region honors for the first time with his school-record hammer throw of 175-6 at the CC Championships. DeMagistris ended with the fifth-best mark in the region. He earned a silver medal at the CC Championships and currently sits in second place on the CC all-time performance list.
