The Muhlenberg men's soccer team experienced some bad luck in its 1-0 loss at DeSales.

The Mules (2-2-1) took 25 shots to only seven for the Bulldogs (3-1), and even though none of their went in, four came close. Junior Sim Dorsey and sophomore Eric Armijos both hit the crossbar in the first half, and junior Sebastian Tis headed one off the woodwork late in the second half.

Senior Evan Schlotterbeck also narrowly missed a goal, as his second-half rip was saved off the post. 

DeSales' lone goal came on a penalty kick in the first half following a hand ball in the box.

Senior Aidan Niggeman made a pair of tough saves in a two-minute span of the second half to keep Muhlenberg within a goal.
