Greene, Unger Named to Scholar-Athlete Team
Muhlenberg basketball players Drew Greene and Emily Unger were named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Media Organization Scholar-Athlete Team.
The team honors one player on each of the 11 area small college basketball teams for academic excellence.
Greene, a junior double major in finance and business administration (management and organization concentration), has played in 11 of the Mules' 18 games as a reserve point guard. He has scored 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go along with 7 assists and 5 steals. Last season as a sophomore, Greene led the Mules in assists (66) and steals (49), becoming the first Muhlenberg player ever to lead the Centennial Conference in steals.
Unger, a senior psychology major and business administration minor, has started all 17 games and leads the Mules with 33 three-pointers - a total that ranks fifth in the CC. She is averaging 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game (third on the team) and is second on the team with 26 steals. A three-year starter who has scored 655 points, Unger ranks fifth in program history with 148 career three-pointers.
