The Lions broke the game open with a five-run fourth and held a big lead until the Mules scored four runs in the top of the ninth.
Junior Aidan Legner went 3-for-4, while senior Nick Whelan and sophomore Thomas Pranzo added a couple of hits apiece.
Senior Ryan Riccio also recorded a pair of hits, including a double, to increase his season hit total to 53, a total topped only 10 times in program history. Riccio has 17 multiple-hit games this season.
Junior James Hopke (pictured above) had the best pitching outing of his career, throwing 2.1 hitless innings in long relief.
