Three Earn All-CC in Women's Lacrosse
Three Muhlenberg athletes were named to the All-Centennial Conference women's lacrosse team.
Senior attack Nicole Steiner and junior midfielder Emily Vaughan were both repeat honorees, making the second team, while junior attack Jillian Kubikowski received honorable mention for her first career CC nod.
Steiner leads the CC in goals (67) and goals per game (3.94) while tying for eighth with 71 points. Her 67 goals were the fourth-most in a season in program history. Steiner led the Mules with 24 goals in CC contests, recording hat tricks in six of nine games against CC opponents, and netted 8 goals in non-conference wins against Kean and Drew. She finished her career with 166 goals, third in program history.
Vaughan led the Mules in ground balls (50), caused turnovers (38) and draw controls (78), leading all CC field players in the first two categories. Her 38 caused turnovers were the third-most in a season in program history, seven shy of the school record. Vaughan also scored a career-high 31 points on 23 goals and 8 assists. She will enter her senior season in the top five on Muhlenberg's all-time lists in career draw controls (fourth with 216) and caused turnovers (fifth with 82).
Kubikowski had a breakout season, ranking second on the team in points (67), goals (44) and assists (23) and leading the Mules with 33 points in CC games. She scored one of the team's biggest goals of the season, an overtime winner at Swarthmore. Kubikowski topped the 100-point mark for her career in the final game of the season and will enter her senior campaign with 102 points.
Muhlenberg finished the 2024 season with a 12-5 record, earning a Centennial Conference playoff berth for the second straight year and the right to host a CC playoff game for the first time since 2015.
