The Muhlenberg field hockey team suffered a tough loss at home, falling to Haverford in a shootout.

The Mules scored a goal in the first quarter, and the Fords netted the tying goal in the third. The team played through two scoreless overtime periods before going to a shootout, which Haverford won, 4-2.

Junior Erin DiSandro scored Muhlenberg's goal just 3:58 into the game, converting a pass from senior Mikayla DeMichele off a penalty corner. It was the 10th goal of the season for DiSandro, who tied classmate Abba Diglio for the team lead. DiSandro and Diglio are the first pair of Mules to each reach double digits in goals in back-to-back seasons.

Sophomore Maddie Schwartz made 6 saves in goal, including a pair in overtime.
