The Muhlenberg women's basketball team could not dig out of an early hole and fell at Ursinus, 78-56.
The loss snapped an 11-game winning streak, tied for the fifth-longest in program history, for the Mules (11-2, 2-1).
Ursinus (8-5, 2-1) scored the first 11 points of the game as the Mules struggled with their shooting, missing their first seven shots.
Muhlenberg got to within seven points, at 17-10, in the second quarter, and entered the fourth quarter down eight, but the Bears made five three-pointers in the final period to pull away.
Senior Emily Unger led the Mules with 14 points, going 3-for-5 from three-point range, while freshman Veronica Dawson added 11.
