Two Place for Women's Wrestling
Two Muhlenberg wrestlers earned places at the Ursinus Women's Open.
Both Muhlenberg placewinners matched their seedings. Freshman Alessandra Rodriguez (pictured above), seeded fourth, won her first bout on a technical fall late in the first period. She finished fourth behind the 15th-, 18th-, and 20th-ranked 124-pounders in women's college wrestling.
Freshman Kelsey Gelb went 3-2 to place sixth at 160. All three of her wins came on pins, all in 62 seconds or less. Ten of her 13 wins this season are by fall.
