Women's Basketball Ends Season with Road Loss
The Muhlenberg women's basketball season wrapped up its 2024-25 season with a 77-51 loss at playoff-bound McDaniel.
The Mules (15-10, 6-9) were down only 15-13 with two minutes to go in the first quarter but made just one field goal between then and the end of the second quarter. The Green Terror (17-8, 8-6) led 37-17 at halftime and breezed in the second half.
Senior Rachel Saxton led Muhlenberg with 15 points in the last game of her career, while fellow senior Ava Connolly bowed out with a 12-point effort.
Senior Emily Unger made her 163rd career three-pointer - fourth all-time in program history - and the Mules' fourth senior, Megan Winters (pictured above) set a career high with 4 assists in her final game.
The 15 wins were the most for Muhlenberg in six years.
