Junior Erin DiSandro was responsible for the game's lone goal. Late in the third quarter, she collected a loose ball in the circle off a penalty corner, dribbled through the legs of a Cougar player and shot inside the far post. It was the 20th career goal for DiSandro (pictured above).
Despite the close score, the Mules (4-2) had the better of play for the majority of the game, rolling to a 17-1 advantage in shots and not allowing a shot on goal.
The Mules' four-game run is their longest since the start of the 2019 season, and in the four games they have outscored their opponents 16-1 and outshot them 79-10.
