Men's Golf Begins with Fourth-Place Finish
The Muhlenberg men's golf team opened the 2024-25 year by coming in fourth at Albright's Lions Fall Invitational.
Five of the six Mules who competed recorded birdies; the one who didn't, junior Charlie Kerprich, nevertheless tied for the low score on the team. He was consistent throughout the round, making par on 11 of the 18 holes and tying for sixth out of 41 competitors with an 81.
Junior Alex McCauley (pictured above) also shot 81 and was just 2-over-par on the back nine. He had three birdies in a stretch of four holes between 12 and 15.
Sophomore Ryan Tasetano birdied the longest hole on the course, the 582-yard 10th, while newcomers Corey Gold and Justin Edwards birdied the par-4 second and fifth holes, respectively.
Junior Conor Mahoney notched a birdie on the par-3 fourth hole.
