Men's Basketball Honored for Academics
The Muhlenberg men's basketball team and two of its players were honored for academic achievement by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The Mules earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award in recognition of completing the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Rising seniors Luke Gordos and Charlie Gillikin were named to NABC Honors Court, which includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Gordos, a computer science major, and Gillikin, a double major in accounting and finance, both saw starting time for the Mules last season.
This is the seventh time in the last eight years that Muhlenberg has both earned the Team Excellence Award and placed at least one member on the Honors Court.
